How many of you have allergies out there? I know I do. Some people have allergies to certain foods or medicines, and those are pretty easy to avoid as long as you know what you have. But my allergies are to dust mites. Ugh. There was nothing I could do to control it until I started using allergy pillows.
If you don’t know what dust mites are, maybe it is better that you stay ignorant. Are you sure you want to know? Well, dust mites are tiny bugs that live in your house. They can be found anywhere there’s dust, but they are concentrated in your carpeting, upholstery, bed linens, and pillows. Yeah. Pretty gross, huh? A lot of people freak out and start cleaning, but you can’t get rid of dust mites that way. Everyone has them.
If you have allergies, that means a big problem. Although dust mites are everywhere, the allergies are worst when you lie down in your bed at night. After all, your face is against the pillows so you are breathing in a high concentration of dust mite allergen all night long. A similar thing would happen if you laid down on the carpeting of your house for a nap. There is such a high concentration there is just not much you can do.
